Recently I have been enjoying  a class with Todd M. Casey- learning about the color wheel.  Todd is a plethora of knowledge and he loves teaching other artists and has  the patience of a saint.  I can see my art improving on a daily basis.  I wouldn't normally put artwork on here from my classes, but I love looking at the journey that it has taken me to where I am.   Todd's website is toddmcasey.com. Check him out and check out his books, they are the best that I have ever read about the practice of painting.  He has already sold out of his  "The Art of Still Life ".  The good news is that the publisher is doing a second print run.

Last month, I also took a class with  Stephen Zang- watercolorist and teacher at UNT in Denton.  Great class and wonderful artist.  Learned so very much from him as well.  More watercolor work to come- Thank you Stephen.  His website is stephenzangart.com.
